Financial Information

Being in a sorority is a social, academic, and financial commitment. Chapters use members’ dues to put on events, create programs for member development, and support members through academic workshops. It is the responsibility of each woman who joins a Panhellenic sorority to determine how best to pay her dues.

Recruitment fee:

The only fee to participate in the Primary Recruitment process at Texas Tech is $150. This is non-refundable and is due upon registering for recruitment to pay for meals, transportation to and from Greek Circle, first-aid supplies, water and snacks, and other expenses.

Chapter dues:

Each chapter factors different things into their dues and fees. Some chapters include event tickets in their dues, some include t-shirts, and some pay larger housing corporation fees or fees to their national organization. Most chapters allow members to pay their dues in installments over the course of the semester or the year. Please see below for each chapter’s breakdown of dues.
